Actually you know I did get a SLIGHT feeling that Qatar was catering VERY heavily to their business class and first class but treating the economy a bit like the abandoned child.

I did go back into the economy area once and it smelled, was packed and just seemed noisy. But at the same time, I thought most of that to be the PEOPLE and not the airline (which is what you just said too).

I have so many miles on Delta, that I think my next trip will have to be by Delta by default, so for now I won't have to experience "hell" as you put it :)

It is a major hub for people transferring, and full of laborers in huge groups, Japanese tourists in huge groups, a reasonable duty free, a couple limited places to grab a snack. While Qatar keeps very clean, it is hard to keep an airport clean under those conditions, and most of the time, there aren't enough seats so there are also crowds standing. It is a lot like what I think hell must be like.</description>
