It's easy being a business owner / entrepreneur / CEO when times are good but you get paid the big bucks to put out fires before they happen or, worst come to worse, deal with them head-on! This wasn't an "oops" moment, this is a systematic betrayal of the leadership position that he holds. I think you let him off EASY in your post.
